Here, he excelled in his studies of biomechanics, rehabilitation, and adjustive technique. He also completed several post-graduate courses, including rehabilitation, soft tissue, Whiplash Trauma and adjustive technique.
Before founding Eastside Spine & Injury of Milwaukie, Dr. Sims acted as Clinic Director and treating chiropractic physician for Fairway Chiropractic in Roseville, California. It was during this time that he had the pleasure of working with several elite high school and college athletes, and eventually started working with several of the local professional teams. During this period, Dr. Sims was able to gain immense knowledge from fellow colleagues in the fields of Sports Medicine, Athletic Training, Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, allowing him to draw from other fields of healing in the preparation of the appropriate treatment plans.
Dr. Sims has developed a wonderful team at Eastside Spine & Injury, where patients benefit from the caring diagnosis and therapeutic treatment received by knowledgeable, skilled practitioners. In our practice, we do more than treat conditions. We empower our patients to participate in their own health and wellbeing. The Eastside Spine & Injury team continuously seeks to apply current knowledge and skill to each case, successfully treating neck pain, back pain, and a variety of other conditions.
When not in the office, Dr. Sims enjoys spending time with his wife, Christy, and their 4 children, Olivia, Dylan, Sydney and Sawyer. In addition to his family, Dr. Sims enjoys cycling, golfing, hiking, Crossfit and spending time with family and friends.
